having seen other ads on here and as we are about to advertise anyway I'd rather give genuine Bees fans first refusal.....

Our family business (staff 10) is the Uk's leading supplier of sports trophies and presentation awards.....we have an opportunity for an enthusiastic person (pref age 22 - 35) who has an interest in sport, is articulate, reliable and self motivated to work as a member of our sales team, to handle accounts and visitors to our showrooms.

We are based in Springfield Road, Hayes and operate from Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Salary, Annual Bonus and excellent prospects for the right applicant.

Please e-mail me at mark@burridge.co.uk for further details or to arrange an interview

To be fair, why don't we have a separate area where fellow Bees fans can advertise their services, jobs, swap skills, etc, etc. As there's loads of members who read this board, many people who have their own companies, who need more business, etc, etc, then why not?

Anyone there a plumber? Get extra business through the GPG! We are a Brentford community after all.

I think its a very good idea....by the way we will donate a "finders fee" to Bees United if we get a good applicant.

I WOULD FAR RATHER WORK WITH OTHER BEES FANS!!!!

(One of our engravers is a Bees season ticket holder too)

Ive asked for this several times, not for my own gain either ! Sell cars, swop cd's,dvd, games ,anything , a cut goes to BU too.The " business ads " can pay a fee.Advertisinf on here gives access to nearly 2000 people who hopefully wont waste your time ! Have you ever tried to sell a car privately ? They dont turn up ,or are Pikeys or try to rip you off,Id feel safer letting Bee in me car
!

Any one interested in a 1997 Lotus Elise BTW ?

How much, and what's wrong with it?

Let's campaign to get this idea off the ground. I've already PM'd Edmundo about it. No response yet.

Yes a CLASSIFIEDS section would house all the above.

Hold On Leicester Bee! Is 24 minutes too slow for you :(

Or should I just say "how high". This is getting off-topic. Your topic is best discussed in Site Feedback. I'm not sure why you would expect anyone who wants to read this thread wants to know about new forums.

Anyone else that wants to discuss anything other than the title of this thread please start another thread in the appropriate forum. Thanks.

Huh. Why two posts?

Will someone tell me what a competitive salary is for the type of post Mark is offering nowadays please as well? I'm not too well up on these things.

After weighing up an applicants experience and enthusiasm an offer can be made accordingly. If acceptable we have a trial period, for the benefit of both parties - normally 2 weeks - then we discuss the figures in greater detail, disccuss annual bonus etc.

Ive been delighted with the response and really hope we can take a Bees fan on board. I think I have enough replies to say that our usual advert in the locals wont be necessary.:) :)

Thanks to all who have taken trouble to reply
