Just a quick report.

The game was played at Feltham Arena's in the hottest possible weather. With the sand on the astroturf, it made the surface extremely hot.

Hammersmith scored earlier on before Karl scored two good goals in quick concession. Then Hammersmith scored two in a five minute spell of domination before half time.

Soon after half time Hammersmith scored again, then continued too pressure scoring two more. Hey Jude then began to put some passes together which culminated in Woody scoring a long shot, exicuting a very good move.

Despite losing by 6-3, Hammersmith Old Boys were a very strong side and at some points in the game Hey Jude played some nice football.

Special mentions to Graham in goal, as usual pulling off some fantastic saves and commanding his goal brilliantly. Also Karl for running the Hey Jude midfield and scoring two very good goals.

A decent performance from our side, we matched them in many areas and when we went 2-1 up I thought we'd go on to win.

It is looking promising if we continue to play and fight like we did on Sunday.

I think that Hammersmith haven't lost a game in three/four years. Granted they only play in the summer, but they are a decent outfit and would be the equivalent to a top side at WorldNet.
