West London folk star & Stripes favourite ROBB JOHNSON (www.robbjohnson.co.uk) appears at Stripes on Friday night (July 25).
Robb - a regular on New Road - is an excellent singer/songwriter. His songs contain a large slice of Bees and west London life in general.
This gig is kindly being professionally recorded as a BU Benefit CD :eek: by Running Frog (www.runningfrog.com)
Be great to have a bumper crowd to boost the atmosphere on this Bees CD :)

Top Quality performance, as ever, by Sir Robb and great support from Graham Larkbey (who being the New Rd S/T holder & top man he is, waived his fee for the cause). Top man :)
This gig raised £280+ surplus for BU.

More details re this Bees CD will be made available in the next few weeks. It is a MUST BUY for Bees fans, containing all sorts of memorable songs.
Songs about mundane trips to Hartlepool away, and , more recently, the "2-0 down at half time" (v Cheltenham @GP this season ) are fascinating listening with superb lyrics.

Demand for this 'Collectors item" is sure to be heavy!
'2-0 down to Cheltenham' and the tremendous comeback (with the players sent back out onto the pitch at halftime) revives great memories, and I'm sure we'll hear it more than a few times over the sound system at GP!

Probably not necessary to oredr in advance Smiffy, we`re getting plenty of copies. Hopefully ready & available within a few weeks.
Will distribute via mailorder too.
