Do any of the 'bovver boyz' (Speedo, Brickie Chap(s) etc ;) ) remember this tie being played at Griffin Park ??? I am reading the "Soul Crew" book at the moment and the guy says that it was one of the most tricky away ties they have ever had off the pitch due to all the QPR, Chelsea, Gooners and Cockney Reds that turned up to greet them  Were any of our great faces at this game ???

London United was out that night in decent numbers. In the late 80's and early 90's Hayes always performed in the FA Cup. Certian posters on here may have been at grounds like Brighton, Northampton & Cardiff...

Alot of chaps live in Hayes(inc Arsenal, Man Utd, QPR and Chelsea 'faces'). Soul Crew didnt enjoy that visit to GP but haven't had many problems sincelol

As for who was there, I wasn't but am pals with a SC chap who might have been:D

Firstly GABS, don't refer to me as a 'Bovver Boy', you'll be hearing from my laywers if this happens again:D

I enjoyed the football that night I have you know, although some of the scariest lads in the pub before the game were local Hayes 'KP's' not QPR, Chelsea or anyone else. Still, it wouldn't look as good for the 'Soul Crew Publishing plc' to admit to that would it? Wonder who will play Hayes' top lads in the forthcoming film?!!? :D :D

...and how many here attended Hayes vs Yeovil about 6 years ago?
It was near the end of the season and was almost the title decider for the Ryman Premier (I think).
Much fun was had watching the yeovil fans attempt to change ends at half time!!

There was about 15 Brentford fans going back to the Uxbridge Road when this mob ran at them thinking they were Yeovil, the Brentford fans stood thinking they were under attack from Yeovil. All you could here was both sides screeming "Come on Yeovil lets av it"

I went to Southal vs Stevenage in the FA Vase quarter final.

The Stevenage fans were animals, they smashed up a pub, nicked the optics and literally sh1t on the bar.

It all went off quite well when Hayes played Crawley in the second round in 91 or 92. One of my mates got trampled by a police horse. :D

If it was the Halifax mate of yours that wouldn't stop telling me his entire life story in Helsinki a few years back, then I would have chased him with a baseball bat:D rofl
