I drive to away games, my aim this season is to do all the away league games. I know I won't do this (something always comes up) but I am determined to go to the grounds I haven't been to (over half of the ones this year).
I only have a Fiesta but I have room for 1 adult and 1 dwarf, I have offered my nephew a lift to away games time after time but he always seems to be "doing something but I'll try and make it next time", but next time he says the same.
Today he opted for pitch and putt Gunnersbury stylie.
I know for a fact it's not my driving that's putting him off and I don't demand any fuel pennies as I'm going anyway. It may be time to ask elsewhere.
While we are on this subject.
I asked Huey (I'm sure a few of you know him) on Tuesday night if he was ok for getting to Tranmere? He said "Oh it's ok, I'm going to gay pride in Brighton. :nono: :nono:
What excuses have you heard for not going to a game, home or away?
