I do not know wether there would be a demand for it or even how we would go about it, but how about producing a CD of Griffin Park footy anthems?

Hey Jude, Scooter, Ketchup song, Griffin Park song and any others that you may think suitable.

Start it of with the Brook Road crowd chanting or singing along, this could be recorded in Stripes with chanting between tracks, Peter Gillham as MC (similar to the Johnathan Pearce ad).

I know there would be royalty issues, but there are so many compilation cds on the market, it could be winner with the Bees fans.

Its not quite what you suggest JBN but there is a BU benefit CD coming out soon which is along similar lines.

Robb Johnson`s recent gig at Stripes was recordred for CD release and virtually every song is about the Bees / supporting the Bees.

I have heard the preview copy and it sounds great. We are indebted to the Windsor production company RunningFrog (www.runningfrog.com) who waived their usual £35 an hour charges as one of their directors is a Bee :)

All being well it should be ready for launch on October 3rd and copies will hopefully be on sale that night at Stripes and at GP the next day v Sheff Weds

we have already paid a fee of £50 to pay re Royalties. £25 will be winging its way to Paul McCartney as Hey Jude`s chorus is used on one track. (The other one is Uncle Cyril)

PJ,
As the long-awaited CD is available at the end of this week, do we know which players that have signed the initial 100?

PJ,
What approximate time will the launch take place on Friday pm????????

I know a lot of people would like to get their copy signed by a particular player, so if they take the trouble to come to the ground Fri pm, whilst the players are still there, do you think that there is a possibility of getting their copy signed then?
Could the players be asked to spend 1/2hour or so in Stripes (after training)
Fully understand that several may have made other arrangements, but wondered if this might be possible!
I know that there is already a heavy demand for the CD, but a preferred signature would be icing on the cake!!!!!!!

The launch is at 1pm in Stripes tomorrow.
I believe the the whole squad will be there more or less SSB, plus a few media peeps.

Anyone who wants to be there is welcome:wave: , though I dont envisage it going on for too long.

The CDs should be widely available from Sat (BFC Club Shop, The Giffin info point, Stripes, the 1/2 BFC shop at 204 High St. Brentford, gig nights etc)

Signed copies are being reserved for advanced orders: just email music@beesunited.org.uk
Plenty of CDs have been made but its only about the first 100 that will be signed by Bees players and Sir Robb.
