Okay, serious question here.
Is anyone in any form of training for this
New Roader is not really at the moment and the date is getting nearer
I am training as it does put quite a strain on your knees and lower legs.
I walked from Teddington to Brentford on Saturday, about 6 miles and will do other long walks in the build-up.
You don't need to do much but I don't think you could walk it straight off having done no exercise for a while.

Last year we did it in about 8 hours....which was quite a pace.
8 hours from 5am is about 1pm, which seems right to me.

Put another one on the list PJ, his name is Graham Devaney(Devers) He is a saints fan but said he would like to help out.
Young lad 22 might interest some of our young female walkers.
Has been known to let people down though.

So who shall I sponsor? Last season I sponsored a non runner (with good reason i believe) but put the money in the bucket anyway.
After reading through this thread I have decided on 2 walkers, so No Coat and New Roader I will have a tenner on each of you and an extra fiver for whoever looks closest to death at the finishing line, oh yes and I will be at the end with my FujiCam.

I shall add you to my list in Chit Chat sometime tomorrow,

Okay, as people may know, poor old New Roader has to get a cab to the ground.
New Roader has an idea though.
If anyone can pick New Roader up from the Stanmore area, then he would give the taxi fare equivilant to that person in sponsership. That means the nast taxi people don't get New Roaders hard earned cash, but the nice people of Bees United do.
PM me if anyone is interested.
