Oi Nocoat

I'll sponsor you to the tune of $50 (about 20 notes) but you have to finish the walk to get the cash :D

Could this be the start of a beautiful love thing between these two grapeviners?

Can I be a marshall and drive along offering cans of Nelson to thirsty Walkers??

No Coat ill make you do a Sambuca every mile, that should make things more interesting!

SECOND APPEAL

Any GPGers out there doing the walk who want to join me in walking there and back (all 52 miles of it) please let me know in the next couple of days or I will have to tell my sponsors that it's just the 26 miles for me. There's no way I'm walking back from Wycombe in the dark on my own! As many of you have noticed, it was going to be myself and Silly Chip walking back, but SC has unfortunately had to pull out.

Okay, as people may know, poor old New Roader has to get a cab to the ground.
New Roader has an idea though.
If anyone can pick New Roader up from the Stanmore area, then he would give the taxi fare equivilant to that person in sponsership. That means the nast taxi people don't get New Roaders hard earned cash, but the nice people of Bees United do.
PM me if anyone is interested.

Much as it pains me to turn down money for the club that I love, unfortunately I would feel hypocritical taking your money. So I must politely decline.

Seriously, I do a little bit of training as I walk to and from work everyday. That will be about 3 miles a day.
Also done a couple of longer walks so far, (5 miles).
Nothing as long as this walk though.

Nothing can really prepare you for walking 26 miles, it is unlike anything I've ever done, and you can't recreate the conditions or the hills.

I would imagine everyone attempting it is doing some sort of walking by this point though.
