On a slightly more positive note, there's a cheque from devers(Saints fan) £109 on it's way, to try and help us out of the shit.
Nice one Devers Top Man.

cheers to Sultan for again kindly sorting the mementos.
there are lots left which weren`t collected on Saturday. They are now behind the bar in Stripes.
I understand that over £4500 has already come in sponsorship with a bit more still to come. Thanks to all

Still a couple of hundred more to come from me, will get it to one of you as soon as I chase a few more people up.
Thanks for the memento, will take pride of place on my wall (as soon as I can be arsed to do some DIY and put up a hook).

2001 - 6,000 quid
2002 - 8,000 quid
2003 - 5000 quid
Well done walkers
Well done sponsors
very well done noades
It's a worry that the day is going backwards now though - should not it be getting bigger , better advertised, more pledges/walkers?

well im thinking that people who do try it once dont do it the next year beacuse of the emotion etc. involved but i would definately do it again

The day IS getting bigger in some ways Aussie...far more media coverage etc this year.
There were only @6 months between last season`s walk and this season`s - would have been better if we`d played Wycombe away Spring/Easter 2004 I guess. There were 33 walkers last season; 28 this season.
I reckon we`ll get close to the 2001 figure when its all in.
We`ve got the bike ride to Brighton event to come, albeit on a slightly different basis but hopefully that too will boost the coffers considerably.

Dont think that's the case at all Aussie P J has done all three, lots of people who done the walk in march, again completed the one this last November. The marshalls that also done a good job, seem to be the usual faces.
The frightening thing for me is it's the same people trying to save this football club, dont the fans know how serious this situation is,
I yearn for the day when5-600 or even a 1000 people turn up and do the walk. Or even 2500- 3000 have a BU membership.
But I guess that aint never going to happen.

I think that's a really top effort by all involved, thanks to all that were kind enough to sponser us. with this effort this club will live on, It's the fans that make this club so special.
