Do any of you not use your old Playstation console anymore?

I need 2 as my kids have broken them both, I don't know where i can get them fixed.

I will pay a Crap price for them.:D

Please help as my kids are doing my head-in.

They added a screen to it to reinvent it,I got one for my kids to take with us in the car.I can check if I can get more,you can have it at what it costs me trade.Failing that me daughter has a normal ps1 she doesnt hardly use,I could bribe her possibly.Why not wait and get him a PS2 for Xmas ? I think theyre about £133 ?? I'll have to check.PM me if interested.

Try turning them upside down Bees 66 and leaving them like this when using them.

You could always get them a Playstation 2 for christmas as this will still play all their games.

The consule is not reading the Cd that's in it, It goes to the memory card then says insert a disk.

Sometimes the tracks the lasers ran on wore out and running them upside down fixed it temporarily.

Check nothing is obstructing the lens. If nothing try holding the little button down that the lid pushes down and try. Does the disk spin. If so try cleaning the lens with a cotton bud and some window cleaner or similar. Be very gentle it's fragile.

You could try taking the top off and checking all the connections from the laser unit to the mainboard.

I'd go for the PS2, although anywhere else I'd advocate a gamecube. You get to play all the old games and get a lot more, there's tonnes of games at dirt cheap prices out there.

I don't know, could have been quick sale cos they were nicked or something.
