I am investigating bringing Bad Manners to BFC in late March early April in STRIPES.

£10 a ticket.

What do you think?

Are they a suitable band for BFC?

Did Buster do a bad or good job at Margate. ie: Would we be helping another RN character.

All profits to BFC.

Dear Mods
This is not an event, purely a discussion as to whether I should continue to investigate bringing Bad Manners to BFC. This at present has nothing to do with Bias or BU activities, as I am working alone.
Thankyou.

As long as PJ agrees and I can get their fee down to £1000, we may be on a winner.

200 X £10 = £2000
Raffle = £250

After taking out costs should raise £1000 for BFC.

Doesn`t include % of bar turnover.

Did Buster do right by Margate?

Dear Mods
At present this is not a BU or BIAS fundraising event. It is purely a discussion, I thankyou for your co-operation on this matter.
Thanks

If not, Bish, I'm happy to stick my tongue out a lot and sing their songs for a grand. Nobody would notice the difference :D

Make sure you get all the costs down in writing Bish - Er sign a contract!

Around 1984 the Red Lion (on the macca's site before they pulled it down) got Desmond Decker and the Israelits for a gig - they sold out but the pub/brewery losted money due to "extra's" like "cabs home" etc and bullshit like that

Make sure you can sell or even PRESELL before you do anything

Aussie - Thanks.

I will draw up a simple contract and I will only agree the deal once I get 75 definates from the GPG. I then only need 50 others to break even.

Bad Manners do have a good following, but they do play a lot of gigs.

Get The Hamsters down to play. They have a good following and play cracking stuff. Last saw them play in Putney a few months back and saw Moose there.....which was nice......

Top Idea Bish!

I'd be able to sell probably 10 tickets.

Staines

Why is this a top idea?

People have been saying for months to get a decent band in there!

Just wondering why it is now a top idea?

Because Steve I think Bad Manners will pull a decent sized audience into Stripes.

AUSSIE - Sorry about the delay.

I have been busy and have a busy personal and business life.

If you have a scheme and are prepared to carry it through, speak to PJ and he will advise.

If you can't get Bad Manners, why not try the tribute band 'Bad Habits'. Not sure if they are still going but featured Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett in the line up. They made a TV appearance a few years ago on a show called 'The Two Ronnies' anyone remember it.:D
