Change at Wolverhampton, I have been informed :eek:
Better not book anything, yet as we may be on the telly, so it could be on the Sunday :) or the Friday :eek:

nearest station is Wellington. looks like their ground is new. Wellington is the "old" town, so I suppose that's where all the good pubs will be.

If on Saturday. Trains leave Birmingham New Street at 07 and 34
past the hour. 35 mins to Telford Central and 5 mins more to Wellington

No to Friday night. :nono: :mad1: I had already cleared my working schedule for that weekend but had not taken into account the Sky mob. I will not be happy if I have to sit at work and watch it on the box. :cry:

I do not think it will be possible to be more drunk at a football match if that kicks off at 5:30pm :drunk: Having said that, our lot got to Northampton over 7 hours before kick off a couple of years back! lol :beer: :beer: :drunk:

Euston to Telford (1 change) about 3 hours on Saturdays. Wellington is about another six minutes on the same train. Departures about every twenty minutes.
For example:
Depart Euston 10:50 AM
Arrive Telford 01:42 PM
Arrive Wellington 01.48 PM

You can leave as early as 5:39 AM from Euston but you won't because the 6:05 AM gets you in at the same time (9:15 AM) although it makes one more stop? The 6:55 AM might be better as it gets in at 10:03 AM which gives you time for a couple of Egg McMuffins before the pubs open!!! Anyway, you'll be spoiled for choice whatever time you want to leave.
