United's Bucks Head stadium is in the process of being completely rebuilt at a cost of £12m. Three sides of the stadium are now completely renovated and the fourth is due for completion at the end of the 2002/03 season. Capacity is around 7000, with 5000 covered and just over 2000 of those seated. Away fans are allocated the South stand, which is completely covered and holds 1400.

Ticket Prices 2003/04

Terraces (South Stand(away))

Adults £9
Concession £6

Car Parking

The club has an official car park with a capacity of around 200 spaces whilst the building work continues. Across the road, Telford College offers parking with 1000 spaces. Street parking is available on Haybridge Rd and Regent Street but is not recommended.

Pubs

Of the pubs nearest the ground, the Bucks Head welcomes away fans, but is not frequented by the home support, who by and large opt for the cleaner, brighter, friendlier and all round better surroundings of The Cock and The Swan Hotel 150 yards up Watling Street. The Swan offers a good range of food & bottled alcopops, but the Cock is a real ale pub and is probably the best bet for lovers of good beer. Further from the ground there's the Bridge Builder that is ten minutes walk on the Wrekin Retail Park.
If you've decided to stop off in Telford town centre pre-match, the Euston Way (opposite Telford Central railway station) is your best option with the usual range of beers and an above average standard of pub food. The Severn Gorge on Malinsgate is similar but more expensive.
Alcohol is available inside the ground and there's a bar under both the South and North Stands for the benefit of supporters of both teams within the stadium. Alcohol is served up until 15 minutes before kick off, at half time and after the game.

Food

There's a McDonalds 10 minutes walk from the ground on Wrekin Retail Park. The same retail park is also home to a KFC. Closer to the ground there's Andreas Fish Bar, Turquoise Kebab and Wokmasters Cantonese Takeaway 50 yards up Watling Street behind the South Stand.
Hot/Cold drinks, burgers, pies, chips and all the usual things you would expect are available inside the stadium at the refreshment bars/vending machines.

Matchday Programme

The club's official matchday programme costs £2 and is available from sellers inside and outside the stadium on matchdays.

Telford by rail.
There are three main railway stations in Telford, two of which are well situated or
have good bus links to the stadium.

Telford Central Station.
Telford's main railway station, Central is situated on Euston Way in Telford town centre.
As far as away fans go, this is probably the easiest and quickest option if you aren't familiar with Telford. Upon arrival, take the 44 Redline(northbound) which departs from the bus stop outside the concourse on platform 1 and passes right next to the stadium as you enter the Wellington area of Telford.
The journey accross town takes about 20 minutes, and buses are every 10 minutes on matchdays.
