Travel with the Team

While looking around QXL the other day (And bidding for that very nice aerial photograph of Griffin Park) I noticed that the Hopped Scum down the road are auctioning "Travel With The Team" for their away games - They take only two people per trip but you get to spend the entire day with the team (You also have to sign a confidentiality agreement !!)

Now as much as I hate doing anything that the scum do, I would spend a decent sum to spend the day with the team. Can you imagine coming back from somewher Oop North after a fine win !!

The idea has zero cost to the club cos they have the Coach anyway and they get free tickets - 22 away trips at 250.00 adds up to $5500.00 (Pounds of course but I aint got a Pound Key)

Can not do any harm to try it and see what happens.

Brilliant idea.
Lots of stuff out their that the club could and should look into doing, to bring more revenue in.
Have a fan on the bench for a game. I know quite a few people who would offer a considerable amount of money to have the chance to do that.
Be a member of the squad for the season. With a squad number and be in the team photo.

I think a Bee-for-a-day idea is such a good idea. Coach round trip and end of the bench. Rightfully so, I'm sure Wally wouldn't go for guests in the locker room or in the warm-up, but outside that it would be brilliant.

How cool would it be to roll in on the coach, Brentford suit jacket on like the players, unload some gear and into the players entrance, etc?!? Bet you it could raise a lot.

(Especially like this idea once we have 55pts but are in no real run for the playoffs.)
