If you know someone on the walk, why not call them and post here with an update....

Bee H out on his motorcycle patrol has seen the lead walkers just approaching Beaconsfield. PJ has a very fetching green top apparently. No sign of No Coat though. More reports later.

Correction not the lead walkers. PJ and Egham bee are towards the back with BeckyB and West Ealing coming from behind. Claire and Feltham Bee at the very back with two others who he didn't quite catch the name of. Bee H is now back on his bike as someone said something about bacon rolls in Beaconsfield. Apparently No Coat is up the front so he'll see if he can catch up with him there.

Up date this time from Nigel Brooks. Chris Wickham constantly looking for food. Bully's look painful even just driving past him. Stedders in Beaconsfield trying to source bacon rolls. Whilst Brisol Bee is 3 miles ahead of everyone.

More follows...

Bee H in Loudwater with No Coat, West Ealing and New Roader. No Coat in serious pain but in fine spirit no jacket of course. Leicester Bee and 'Ayes Bee out in the Korean foods van doing their bit. Rod Gowers and his lad just going through with Bully just behind.

Rumours are that Bristol Bee may even have made it already but Bee H is signing off to go and get himself cleaned up for the White Horse. :)

Just spoken to West Wilts - 3 miles to Wycombe plus the bit to the ground.

He says his hamstrings are knackered as are his knees, he's struggling badly but, determined to see it through.

He also has a west country mate of his, who made the journey up from Wiltshire this morning, doing the walk and he's not even a Bees fan...star man!!

Shame on the rest of us!!:nono: :nono:

PS there may be an ITV(!) camera crew waiting for them so possibility of TV coverage at last!

I made contact with Simon Parry, Alan the WW director's son, and suggested he interviews the Non coated one. Davey is close to tears but deserves a double Sambuca for getting THERE and staying off the booze the night before.

Go Davey - TV celeb in the making

I think it's going to be shown on ITV Football Extra in the middle of night Monday.
Should feature an interview with No Coat and West Wilts Bee, including a couple others

Thankyou for your accurate reporting  I feel like raggy omar, while you are more like Trevor McDonald in your comfy studio lol

lol at Alex! the reason Chris was constantly looking for food is every single time we saw a support vehicle they said our sarnies were in the other one!! :D

Nice to see Mr Heath in leathers!

Just for the record:
We have also received £50 in donations from the TV people.
£30 came from Simon Parry and his colleagues who were filming the walkers (and they can help us out even more by including NoCoat's contribution to QPR/Brentford relations :D )
An additional £20 came from one of the Wycombe TV people (couldn't quite work out who he was and what he did, but he was mighty impressed with the Walkers and the spirit among our fans).

Food and provisions were paid for by BeeH and GSK helped out with lucozade.

Everyone who did the walk: I salute you! A mighty effort.
