28 real heroes walked to Wycombe today to support Bees United and to keep OUR club alive.
There was a group of four teenagers, one of who was walking to raise just £30 in sponsorship. (The most that this group of friends had in Sponsorship was £65) and they all had to pay £12 to get in.
£30!!!!! most of us wouldn't get out of bed for less than that, let alone get out of bed before 4am to walk over 26 miles up hill, mainly on grass verges.
If you can, please show,
Feltham Bee
Clair (who had even died her hair red and white)
Rock on you Bees
and Kerry (whoes joing the GPG soon)
your appreciation by sponsoring them as a small group, so that there efforts are properly awarded.
I'll start by sponsoring them £26.

Put me down for 20 quid.
Having done the walk last year I have personal experience of just how gruelling a feat it is to complete and like you said Ayes to have the commitment to still do it to raise thirty quid for their Club is to be roundly applauded.

A big thanks to all of those above (and hopefully below) who have shown thier appreciation through pleadges of sponsorship.
To make life easier for everybody, those who have made pladeges with regard to this thread, or are going to make a pledge can settle up at the BIAS/ BU Information point, outside of the Griffin pub prior to the Grimsby game.
Please make any cheques payable to bees United and any place any cash into an evelope marked "Walk to Wycombe"
Thanks
