Firstly hello to everyone.

I've been reading through a vast number of the fundraising ideas on this page. I see nothing at all wrong with the ideas forwarded, some of which are excellent.

However I feel there is a reliance on bucket collections, marches and meetings, all of which are effectively one-off events. All of these have their purpose and should be continued - particularly the bucket collections. It would be nice to see Bees United become more of a member's club. Allow me to explain.

Instead of relying on the donations format, which fails to attract sufficient revenue alone, the organisation should be be more inclusive with regards to the events organised. This will enable Bees United to maximise the revenue available from its membership.

The idea of regular gigs is a reference towards what can be achieved. If just one member of Bees United spent £10 to link up with the organisation for an event, that particular member may well have doubled his/her monthly contribution.

If an affordable Bees United member's package events have been considered then fair enough. My feeling though is that if Bees United were to offer a package to all subscribers for a range of events, it may well find itself with an unexpected windfall. It may be a bit late to organise a Stripes Christmas meal, but has anyone considered a post-Christmas day out at Kempton Park? Can this be organised for sporty Brentford fans and at a profit to Bees United?

Donations by standing order and via buckets are the lifeline of our club, but supporting revenue will ease the pressure.
