Flying to away games is not a 21st century thing you know. When I moved to the area in the mid-eighties and signed as a Bees fan I seem to remember a group of chaps known as the Heathow Bees. As far as I remember they worked in and around Heathrow and used their free/discounted flights to travel to some of the away games. I expect they have all moved on in their employment and family life now which is probably why I have heard no mention of them for years. There must be so many stories to be heard from this group of fans. If I remember rightly they were very loud and liked a quick half or 2 before the games. Were you a HB? What happened to them?
