Having gatecrashed the R&D after match press conference with MA in the hotseat for the first time - I was very VERY impressed with the way in which he responded to all questions.
With relegation thoughts removed by 5.00pm on Saturday (We win 3-0 and all other results go our way) I reckon that a "Meet the Manager and Team" in Stripes on the Friday (Thursday perhaps better ?) nite before we demolish Bournmouth would be well worth the 5.00 pound entry fee and the money taken over the bar would also be a good sum.
Such an evening should raise at least a 1000 quid by way of entry fee and bar profits
And yes I know we should not have to pay to meet our boys but it's only a fiver and it would be a great nite out.
Not only will it raise a good sum but just think of all the positive vibes that can be in the room - Bit of chanting, (Dobbo / Dobbo) bit of singing, (Martin Allens Red & White Army) bit of individual praise to every player (And make it a point for Hutchinson) - More than likely it will lead to a 7 or 8 goal victory on the Saturday.
Regretfully I would not be able to make it but I bet at least a 100 of you would be able to (And I guarantee it would be worth every penny)
Out of interest, who would be tasked with arranging such a thing - I dont think it falls under PG does it ?
