I notice today that somebody 'invested' £685k in QPR by buying a 22% share in the club. In the same report, it suggested that they were in negotiations with another couple of fans along similar lines.
When was the last time a single Bees fan did similar at Brentford. Was it Lange (or am I being naive in thinking that happened , I was only young!)
It seems to me that there are a number of investors whio could assist along the same lines if allowed. Now I'm in no position to criticise, and am only offering an opinion as an interested 'stakeholder' but it does seem as though opportunities are being missed. Is it because this is perceived as dead money due to the large debt, or are willing investors not being given the influence that such an input would deserve.
Speaking as someone who is nowhere near close enough to understand the committments made between Bees United and Noades, it would be very interesting to discover how the potential that lays within our four walls could be unlocked.
