Following the thread that Nigel started on M. Sonko, I've just come up with the following thought:
I am a freelance translator from French and Spanish into English and would be happy to contibute to BU £10 for every 1,000 words that I translate in respect of texts sent to me by or via Bees fans.
I know that this will be of little use to the vast majority of you, but it may just interest one or two of you and get some valuable income for Bees United. For example, if any of you work for comapnies that need translation services, then I would be pleased to give my rates, c.v. and any other relevant information that may be required for you to recommend my services.
If anyone is interested in using my services and thereby helping to contribute money to a very worthwhile cause, please send me a PM.

P.S. I have a French oral exam tomorrow, coincidentally...

OK guys - very funny. If all that my posting is going to generate is witty comments, then I'm sorry that I wasted everyone's time. It was, believe it or not, a serious posting to try and generate some extra revenue for BU.
I didn't expect to be inundated with massive amounts of extra work, but it was an honest attempt to try to make a useful, if not startling, contribution to BU's finances. I still hope that some money may come through in this way, but I'm not holding my breath.

No offence intended.
Suggest that you PM Egham Bee who can promote your service on his allyoucouldwant.co.uk site.
Also there was talk of a directory of 'BeetoBee' services but I'm damned if I can find the thread. I believe that it was a BIAS/BU initiative so an e-mail/PM to Stedders or Matt Dolman could be useful.
Cheers

I'm just incredibly impressed that we can actually (just about) keep a thread going in french. Bet qpr fans couldn't do that!

C'est peu probable que les supporters de le 'pooper scoopers' pourrait garder un fil va dans l'anglais sans parler de français.
