With all this talk of Keepers at the moment, Paul Smith's saves at York - say no more.
Anyone ever seen a better performance?
Their tannoy announcer at the end saying " York City 1 Superman 2" sticks in my mind.
Next best would be Smith's saves at Stockport 3-2 in the same season.

indeed sir, talking to a york fan after the game, he couldnt believe how good our keeper was:eek: :)

also, julians saves at rushden were pretty good(the only good game he had)

I'm afraid i can only vouch for Julians at Rushen which was excellent due to diffrent reasons i was unable to make the others

Benstead one season was absolutely phenomenal. BAsically the video of the season was pretty much all about him he was so good

I used to really enjoy watching Graham Benstead, always thought he was a fantastic keeper. Especially remember him keeping us in numerous away games when the rest of the team were struggling
