Anyone have one or preferably built one before? Just looking for some recommendations and costs people incurred making one, it's gonna be cheaper than a laptop for uni, bastards won't let me have the full student loan because my parents combined income is over some threshold or other.

I built an Asus Terminator AMD system for my dad and it's a bit tight inside but does the job nicely.

Nice, how much it cost you? I've been working things out roughly and got around £500 exc. monitor. Was looking at AOpen with pretty high specs.

Have you found problems with overheating?

Also 2500th post :D:D I promised myself I'd stop posting once I got here but **** it I think 3333 would be a nice number to go out on.

Go on the Toshiba website and check out a Lap top for £469.00
