While the bookies are so fond of wednesday does anyone know where i can get odds on their relegation?

I would imagine our final league position would dictate our odds. I am sure we were one of the favourites to go up the season after losing out to Stoke in the play-offs, even though most of us knew we would struggle with the amount of players we lost.
Would imagine Wimbledon and Bradford to be among the relegation candidates, with possibly Chesterfield, Torquay and Wallsall.
Be interesting to see what happens at Hull if Peter Taylor does leave.

On ToteSport I got £10 on the win @ 50/1 plus £10 on the next 3 places (2nd, 3rd & 4th) @ quarter odds (12.5/1)
Actually, think I must have that wrong - when it says "3 places at 1/4 odds" I guess that means 1st, 2nd & 3rd @ 12.5/1 rather than 2nd, 3rd & 4th @ 12.5/1.

I think 40/1 is a realistic price to be honest. Realise we have the feelgood factor bought in by Martin Allen, but there will still be teams spending a lot more than us on more experienced players. And over the past two seasons we have been anything but convincing.
However, anyone got the odds on us reaching the play offs???

40/1 = within bottom 4 of the odds on offer and so favourites for a relagation spot. Do you agree on the price now?

I am sure some bookmakers will see us as among the favourites to be relegated. We only escaped last game of the season and they probably do not know enough about the club to think any more than another season of struggle ahead.
Personally i think we will be outsider shots for the last play off place, but more realistically probably about 10th or 11th.

Im not a gambler ,but I take it the bookies do not judge the odds on the last seven games of the previous season ?
Im putting a donkey on us , is that the right term ?

Dunno about being fond of them - 12/1 for them to win the division isn't bad.

They were ahead of us on goal difference only - if we'd scored just one goal more (or let in one less) we'd have been above them!
Wednesday F:48 A:64 Diff:-16 Pts:53
Brentford F:52 A:69 Diff:-17 Pts:53

I'd put my money on Stockport personally, that looks like good odds seeing as they've got an owner with a few pounds spare and a good manager in McIlroy.
I can't believe they've got Bristol City as favourites everywhere, every season they start as favourites and stay down - can't see this season being any different.
They were ahead of us on goal difference only - if we'd scored just one goal more (or let in one less) we'd have been above them!
Had we beaten them twice (should have done) they would have gone down!!
I know eff all about betting but those odds seem way out of line, 30/1 perhaps but not 40/1.
Can you get odds on us finishing top half?

It looks like Oldham are going to start trying to spend their way out of the division so 25/1 looks quite attractive.

Apart from us, Barnsley (20/1) and Oldham (40/1) look good value for an e/w bet on Sporting Odds.
