Bees are 14/1
Corals quote their odds for promotion rather than to win the championship though

Bees are 14/1
Can you explain something to me. You can bet 1/4 e/w at 40/1 on corals this is 1,2,3 and winner. But 14/1 for promotion, this I presume is 1,2,3 and playoff winner. So surely £5 at 14/1 and £5 at 40/1 is better than £5 e/w at 40/1.
Hope this clear?

Promotion would be 1,2 and play-off winner n'est ce pas? Getting the play off winner is harder than 1,2,3 I would have thought hence the higher odds.

Only ever betting once a year on the National, I to am confused
I have put £10.00 ew on at Tote Sport ( first bet gains you £10 therefore total money laid out £10) at 50 to 1 quarter odds 1-2-3.
Just thought in unlikly event we actually win the league does that mean I get the 50-1 £500 plus 121/2 to one £125 for the place.
One last question do we have to send the bill to Martin if we dont go up?

They've only closed the book on Brentford - surely there can't have been that many bets placed on the Bees...
Maybe they've heard something about the new signings & are waiting 'til they know who before setting their odds?
Very strange

Had a dream about this last night...
What if MA's got someone really fantastic lined up & the deal is we don't pay them much but let them get on @ 50/1 before their signing is announced...
Or maybe I need to cut out eating cheese just before going to bed... :sneakoff:
Actually - forget that, just checked & Totesport are accepting bets on us again - still @ 50/1 !
It was a nice dream though...

I'm going to put £10 to win @40/1 and £20 to get promotion @ 14/1 at Corals! :D
I can't believe that we are the 2nd from botton to get promoted!...only Chesterfield below us at 100/1. They have all the usual bollox for promotion, Brizzle(yawn), Tranmere(hmmm tend to agree maybe), Swindon(over rated!) and Hull!!!...what the fukk, just becouse that Peter(oooh what team suits me best this season) Taylor is in charge they thinks its going to do well :nono: Even Doncaster is 7th favorite????
Oh well....this time last year Plymuff were between 25 and 33/1 to win the championship!...that says everything!  lol
JB.....£30 well spent

Thanks for this. Hearing the news that Burton has signed has finally convinced me that we have a chance for glory and I have opened an account with them and would you believe, had my first ever bet on Brentford across a season. :sorted: :sorted:

Have pushed the boat out this year, have had £30 e/w on the bees when we were linked with PDC, since then Rankin and Burton certainly gives me hope up front, not sure about midfield or defence, but will have to wait to see what the new boys do...
At 50-1 to win, we must be on of the favourites to go down, better bet to back us not to get relegated, what would the odds be 4/6 ?????
Hope this link works...
