Stripes Bar is hosting a "Brain of Britain" Quiz night on Thursday July 29th.
Teams of four are invited to enter what will be another fun-filled evening with questions themed around this green and pleasant land in which we live.
The evening will culminate in one lucky person being crowned Brentfords Brain of Britain. So, if you think you know your Francis Drakes from your Charlie Drakes, your Biggin Hill from your Benny Hill and your Hadrians Wall from your Max Wall, then get your team entered today on this thread.
Proceeds of £20 per team will be collected on the night, with proceeds going to Bees United. I look forward to seeing you there.

The quiz is in 29 says time, which means two things:-
A) I'd better think up some question as cunning and devious as a stoat.
B) You lot had better start getting your team entries in. (I do enough talking aloud to myself in public places without having to include Stripes as well).
A good evening is guaranteed, but only if everyone participates as generously as has been done in the past.

frankly, we are in two minds at entering. We love coming to the Brentford quizzes, not because we win but because we have a great night. we are fed up being booed and heckled over something pathetic as winning a quiz, when we are all there really trying to save the club we love.
I went for a **** at the end of the last quiz there only to come out and find that my team mates had been chased down the road, for the crime of winning!!!! Pol Pot would be proud of you lot.
So on reflection we may give it a miss as much as we would love to be there

That is a sad state of affairs to be honest. Doesn't paint people in the best light when the main reason for this is to try and help aid the club in any way we can, and word of mouth can do a lot of damage. Last thing we need is people not taking part in quizzes or fundraisers because they are worried about the reactions they may get.
