Yeh that B&B was really nice, and the owners were very friendly as well. If I remember correctly, it is only about a 10 minute walk into the town centre and there are quite a few decent pubs to visit.

This should be a top weekender, with it being No coat and Loughtonbee's birthdays as well - the perfect way to end our Viena trip - don't think my bank manager will be too pleased tho!!!

Whatever you do - avoid The Rainbow International Hotel! I stayed there when we played Torquay in 98/99 and it's quite possibly the worst hotel I've ever been in.

Surely it can't have been friendlier than that one in Plymouth?

OMG all I could think of when you said that was Andy Mutton pole dancing in Bar Med  lol

It wasn't bad when we went there and that was in December so should be better in September I would have thought. Typical seaside town really.

I have a work colleague whose parents own a hotel in Torquay. If people are interested I might be able to make a large booking and get rooms very cheap. I expect myself and 4/5 mates to be going. PM me if you are.

Probably not the wisest move... especially if he is a mate! lol ;)
