A welcome return from the 70s / 80s punk legend, who mines a more varied and still excellent musical seam these days. Combining their influences from rock'n'roll and ska to Northern Soul for devastating effect, Vic and his 6-piece band are a must-see band.

Vic Goddard and Subway Sect brought the house down on their previous appearances at Stripes Bar - awesome sounds with great variety, and one of the biggest names to play live in TW8.

Conscious that some other threads in the f/raising section are rising, i`d like to bring this thread to the top to ensure this gig receives its due prominence in the context of Stripes gigs.

To have Vic Goddard + The Subway Sect appearing @ Stripes is a major coup for us - let`s make it an evening to remember

One of the best gigs Stripes has seen - Vic G & SS were on top form last night in front of a crowd of @100.

Vic G + SS are back on Fri 19 Nov :sorted:

...well done that man! But for me Jeff Scott Soto is still hte best gig I've seen at Stripes so far :)
Mind you with Freewheeler, Lionsheart, Pittch Invasion, Mitch Malloy, John Otway & the legendary Robert Rankin are still to come Mr Soto could lost that crown!
