How do you get to the ground ?

It's at the old Hinckley ground, the new one is not going to be ready until Boxing Day.
If you're driving see the directions on the other threads.
If going by train get a cab from the station to Middlefield Lane (will cost about £2.50 from Hinckley sation and £5-6 from Nuneaton).
Although pretty rurual around the ground parking is, I am told by my brother-in-law who lives just down the road in Barwell, a bit of a mare.

I have uploaded information about
Hinckley (http://www.bias.org.uk/away_game.php?id=14_0) on the BIAS Web Site:
Have received a memorable description on the ground from Dave Jackson at
Hinckely United Independent (http://www.hinckleyunitedfc.co.uk/index.html) :
"Please do not ever confuse what we have at Middlefield Lane as a Stadium. That could not be further from the truth. Middlefield Lane looked quite good in 1950 when it was built, but not a lot has happened to it since, apart from being fenced in by houses and industrial units, hence the need for our New Stadium. It is a poor non league ground let alone anything else. Covered terracing for 1000 and covered seating for 320. Unfortunately the temporary away end will be very poor, no cover and hard standing only, not even a terraced step. There is a grass bank behind the hard standing but as they are no longer allowed in football grounds it has been fenced off. Away fans will use a temporary turnstile and have temporary toilet and food facilities. All I can say is sorry!
Here is a link to info about Middlefiled Lane (http://www.hinckleyunitedfc.co.uk/club/ground.html)
Please do expect the worst ground you've ever been to, really!

This sounds a lot like VS Rugby to me - just hope the weather is better!
