To overclock just put in a clock in that will run the thing at far too fast a pace for it to lower and raise it's signals compared with rest of the mobo (new jargon there for Banana) - simple!
Alternatively go to google and type "overclocking" in the box. However your belief in fellow Bees' knowledge of esoteric terminology will do.

Have a look at Speedfan:

Its a weird little program that analyses temperatures within the case.
I dont know any thing about overclocking mind.

You can check the temps in the hardware monitor page and overclock using the settings on the CPU PnP settings page of your bios. The CPU settings look a bit basic so you may not have much joy.

I need to flash my bios with the M863AG bios which will allow me to change my settings but how?

I have no experience of this particular motherboard but all others I have used are like this. Get the bios files and the flashing software from PC Chips and a bios flashing disk from http://download.sudhian.com/faq/kt7/downloads/Misc/drdflash.exe . Run the drdflash program with a blank floppy in the drive, this will make your boot disk. Copy the bios and the flashing software to the floppy. Now you need to reboot your pc and set it so that it boots from the floppy drive. Once it has booted you will have a dos prompt where you can flash the bios, the command will be something like aflash m863ag.bin. Be careful doing this, make sure you have the correct bios file and flashing software and that you follow the commands correctly otherwise you can kill you motherboard and you'll have to send the bios chip for reprogramming.
Despite what it says on your link about PC Chips motherboards being rubbish, I have built numerous budget systems for people based on them and have never had any cause for complaint. OK they may not be the fastest and of the highest quality but I've never had cause to replace one due to a fault which I have with other brands.
I just know I'm going to get a call to a dead PC Chips mobo this weekend now.

Give it a try then. Backup up your old bios first incase of problems.

I've an geforce 2 64mb graphics card.
Is it worth throwing it in to free up the 32mb of shared ram will it be slightly quicker or is the ram on the card much slower?.
