Not knocking anyones efforts, but that seems down on usual. Is that the case? I would have thought the bumper crowd would have bumped the takings up. Or am I just wrong :wave:

No, I don't think you are wrong.

I think it has a tendency to go like this when we have a number of games in a short period.

For instance, only last week against Swindon we took £774 on a smaller crowd; I would say there were two contributing factors for the Swindon amount being so large. One, it was our first home game for a few weeks, and second the "feel-good factor" following a good home win.

We are also down on bucket collectors at the moment.

I keep all my loose change under £1 at home until each visit to GP and then bring it along to throw in a bucket. If we haven't had a home game for a while, it's a lot of shrapnel but if they come along like buses, then there hasn't been enough time to collect so much. Maybe others do like me and that helps explain it?
