Damp Squid here, used to have the 3 days off and go with a group of lads for the 3 days. This year not even a day off work!

Champion Hurdle Accordian Etoile 10-1 too big for a horse who will love the ground. Sticks in my mind how he came up the hill earlier this year.

Gold Cup - Throwing money away but Truckers Tavern 100-1 is an insult in a race where how the hell is Kingscliff 9-2 fav? 2nd two years ago in an egg and spoon Gold Cup but probably on par with this lot.

Good luck all.

Thats bad luck NB hopefully a few winners will make up for that ... luckily I am on nights and will be able to see the racing (admittedly blurry eyed)

Anyway ... I don't fancy much on Tuesday apart from River City in the Arkle who I am gonna go heavy on Each Way.

Also a little each way Yankee on Arcalis 2.0, Swansea Bay 4.0, Galapiat Du Mesnil 4.40 and Regal Setting in the lucky last.

Finally a few quid on Graham Lee to be top jock at the meeting!

Hopefully the first three days will give me enough cash to steam into Grey Abbey in the Gold Cup on Friday!!

Just to fill you with confidence ;)

7 of the last 10 winners have had 3 runs or fewer
You have to go back to 1995 to find a horse who has finished out of the first three in one of his prep races that won this race

e/w double - looks fairly decent to me

3.15 Hardy Eustace 7/2f (BetDirect, Skybet, Lad, VC)
5.20 Ease The Way 7/1jf (BetDirect, Skybet, Lad, VC)

If anybody is looking for a decent priced each way shot, try Native Emperor in the 4.00. The horse was good enough to beat Celestial Gold in the 4 mile race here last year so it can be assumed he likes the course and will stay. Currently 28/1 with Stan James.

in the same vein Intersky Falcon (3rd last year) is 66/1 for the 3.15.... both of these horses are Jonjo O'Neill trained, and his stable was closed for a good 6 weeks.. but the comeback has to start somewhere

Cherub (40/1) also runs in the 2.00
