beesotted have now opened an entire shop of brentford merchandise, with 50% of all profits going to the players fund, dont know how that measures up to ours but still, good to see all the fans pulling together to fund a promotion push

50% of profits?? Pah! :nono:

100% of profits from The Great Escape T-Shirts will be going to fund players :sorted:

Someone else that just registered started a thread entitled "Players Fund Shop" about this. To be frank I'm not sure about this. 50% to the players fund also means 50% to someone else's pocket. I'm not against anyone making money but I'd just wish they were up front about it.

The fact that someone else has registered and their FIRST post on here is to advertise the "Players Fund Shop" with 50% of their profits going somewhere else is disappointing. Especially as they haven't spoken to me or Edmundo about advertising it on here.

The GPG has always been non-commercial - in fact it costs us money. I'm not sure why we should be a vehicle for others to make a buck on the back of it. :(

Don't feel bad Nana.. Why not charge them for advertising & give the money to the fund aswell? :sorted:

The Brentford Always Message Board (are we still allowed to say that on the GPG or is it taboo) is also promoting the Beesotted Shop. Any money going into the pot is good enough for me.

There are some wicked t-shirts on offer - Will definitely be pur-chasing when I get some money together.

The moet and chandon Classic Value-T is a favourite at the moment.

I'd still like to know where the other 50% of profits is going.

Tempted by the T-shirts, esp the Rod reject one. The 50% profit line does put me off TBH. How are the plans for the messiah onegoing ? How about a Sodje - New Pele one as well?

Also wondering why Leeds Bee's offer wasn't taken up, esp as up-front money wasn't needed? Just being nosey.

It would appear that some ones on an earner on Beesotted .Im waiting for the original photo which Ive paid for from Swindon Evening Advertiser to arrive .Apparantly it can take up to two weeks  .I want to run with the Gt Escape for a 2 to 3 weeks first , we havent really sold many yet .When our star models the shirt later in the week ,Im sure we'll see a surge.

I dont know Leeds Bee .Farnham Bee had already done the artwork . Im sure if Leeds Bee wants to do some more designs to add to the GPG shop we'd all be delighted . If theres any thing else you fancy as a fund raiser mention it on here .

Leeds Bee owns a promotional products company and offered to help with design, sourcing and general expertise. Initially offered help on the Beesotted message board. Said he's only want payment once sales covered initial costs. Email address was posted on the original T-shirt thread. I wasn't knocking Farnham Bee, just wondering if his offer had been taken up.

As for ideas, picture of MA's head on a swimmer with "If you say you're going to swim it, then get in and swim it" or something along those lines. As I said before, Sodje/new Pele would go down a storm with me.

I'm never spending any money on anything again whether I like the item or not if someone's going to make a profit from it.

I don`t see a problem. The individual/group have been totally honest and saying they are pocketing 50%, now if fans think thats a con as a rival or different option donates 100%, then don`t buy the 50% option.

If the product is good enough I will buy it I don`t care as long as I get VFM.

Fair point Ache. The reason I never bought Bees United Mug was because I thought the quality of the print was poor. If the quality of the T-Shirts is poor I won't buy from either 'shop'. But then again I've spent many a season watching crap at Griffin Park and still came back and paid again.

I don't have a problem with it per se, I just don't know who they are - which is why I'm not sure I'll buy from them, that's all.

...and while you're at it, give Tescos and all those other companies selling food and clothes a wide berth! And vote Socialist Labour. :D

I trust you mean anything publicising our football club!!! ;)
