Not sure if this should appear here or under Away Travel. It was announced at yeaterdays game that the Lifeline Society are subsidising 20 coaches for travel to Stockport and the fare will be £2. No excuse for us failing to pack the away end - 20 coaches x 53 = 1,060 fans.

Not sure why you thought this was anything other than Away Travel! :)

Interesting to see whether this tempts many people who don't regularly go to away games to travel. Personally I can't see many of the regular away fans switching mode of transport. I certainly wouldn't, even if I didn't already have my train ticket!

For those of us who are thinking of going and live on the route up here in Beds & Bucks.

I wonder if the club would consider stopping a coach on the way up at either Toddington Service Station or the Milton Keynes coach station to pick us up ?.

Two pounds - what a great deal. I hope they club get the response they deserve. Be great to see a convoy of 20 buses of Bees fans.

What a heap of poo that whole place is! Jump across to Yorkshire and stay in one of the villages on the outskirts of Hudders about 30 mins away but 200 years ahead. :sorted:

I like the way they have repaid all the regular away travellers, by ensuring this news was advertised way before anyone would have dream't about booking up travel under their own steam :)

I hope they have informed Stockport of this initiative. I understand that normally away supporters are only allocated about 800 seats in the Vernon Building Society Stand, whilst if a bigger crowd is expected they have to open the uncovered seated Railway end.
