Attatching Word Documents to E-Mails

Has anyone come across this before?

Up until last week, i happily went through the Browse facility on my BT Yahoo E-maiol account and drilled down through the word shortcut to the relevant file to send.

All of a sudden, when i hit browse and double click on the Word shortcut, it copies the shortcut address into the Browse column and i cannot drill any further.


BTYahoo were a waste of time.

I have also downloaded the free software from OpenOffice, and the same thing happens with that.

Any clues?


By the way i have tried on Firefox and IE6 and Word is XP.

Just tried it on mine and can't see any problem. Are you linking to a shortcut rather than an actual document? :shrug:

I have always done the same.

I click on the shortcut for Word when the 'look in' box shows me my desktop icons.
