Overlooking the obvious difference in size and shape of a football pitch compared to a cricket pitch, I thought this may be an idea for the dynamic BFC Board to investigate.

Middlesex come back to the historic county of Middlesex - Brentford - and play against a team made up of our players or a type of cricket all stars team.

It would spread the reach and interest in Middlesex CC and BFC may form some good commercial link ups.

Of course the crowd safety issues and cost of setting up nets and screens may be prohibitive, but it may turn into an annual event if it goes really well.

Just thinking.

This is not a BU fundraising event and has f6ck all to do with BU so why have you moved it here.

Easy, Bosh!

It strikes me that you have suggested a 'Event' that might be an excellent 'Fundraising idea'.

I do like "f6uk" though and will use it at some inappropriate place in the future. :sorted:

Cricket has been played on the hallow turf a few years back with teams consisting of Chris Quentin (Corrie), Bill Wyman, A guy from Spandau Ballet, Chris Broad (Cricketer) etc.

:mad1:

Brentford is in Middlesex. Why would we want those dirty inbreds on the hallowed turf :mad1:

good idea but wouldn't we struggle to "fit" the pitch in? stadium's not right for it is it?

I think Bosh must be bored. Didn't I read a number of posts on here to the effect that his only involvement was to support the team, or did I imagine it all :fishing:

BFC board indeed!! :D :D :D
