View Full Version : Open Air Screening of Games ?
Does anyone know of any parks etc that are showing WC games on a large screen ? I am off to the Clapham Grand to watch the first England game but having just looked at the weather forecast (28c !) got me thinking about alternatives in the great outdoors.

Canary ****ing Wharf? What a joke! Why can't they find a central London venue? I'm a hacked off licence fee payer. :mad1:

There aren't any games at lunchtime though, are there? Kick offs at 2pm, 5pm and 8pm.

I was at CW at lunchtime today and can't believe how busy it was compared to when I was last there. Incredible. I think there were at most 8 retail outlets when I first worked there

I will most likely be at the same bar where we caught the Germany game in 2001 . :sorted: Not much sunshine over here at the mo, but at 9 in the morning it probably won't matter!

We saw on the top floor of a building a conference or something going on but when the fights broke out everyone was pressed against the window

Birmingham wouldn't screen the England match because of crowd safety but they are showing all the other matches.

Exactly why I now watch England games indoors and not in pubs or with others I do not know.
Too many pricks in my opinion.

Couldn't agree more. The great british public just love to flock together and act like total pricks.
