View Full Version : Case Sensitivity

I don't get it at all. The passwords are case sensitive - fair enough. However, when I enter my username to post this "trevor" is accepted but not "Trevor" - if I put "Trevor" the board complains that no-one is registered with that name. Fine - so I go and register it (I don't like my lower-case 't') - when I go and register it complains that someone already has that (my?) username. Can I have a big 'T' please?

Moderators: Please can we have a forum called "Technical/Board Issues" so we don't have to read about Trevor's big "T" and the like under "General Brentford Chat".

Nothing personal trev, hope you get you're big T soon.

Trevor/trevor

The only way to sort this out is if I delete you as a registered user. You can then re-register. Only snag is you lose the number of posts - but I don't suppose that matters much. Let me know and I'll delete your registration.

I have also set up a new forum for topics such as this one. I will move this thread to the new forum tomorrow, so that Trevor doesn't wonder what's happened to it!

Hey Isleworth Bee - it's ok for you with your big "i" and big "b" - or is big "b" someone else?

Trevor, if you re-register, you should be able to use a capital T now.
