Well the die is cast and we are down. I can only say sorry for a completely miserable season littered with mistakes and incompetence, of which I am a part by being on the BU board. I deeply apologise. Words aren't enough.

Brentford Football Club needs serious reform in all areas and you all should expect and demand that changes are made.

Sorry from those who have been involved in all the mistakes that have led us to this part would be a start. I'm not holding my breath though

Too right! Now it's time to put BFC up for sale. And put a freeze on the entrance fees for next season.

Well Mark as you are one of the people responsible for the ruination of Brentford Football Club pehaps you can use your infuence to get rid of Dyke - Dickens - Fitzgerald and Reeves ...Pronto....is the least you can do !

Thanks for the apology ;)

What can BU do to reform the situation?

Take on board Mr Birds advice and act on it?

As far as I am concerned, this has been the worst of all seasons.

We have players who show no respect for the supporter, we have a BFC Board that treat the supporter like a bunch of mugs and we have a toothless BU who seem very reluctant to the rock the boat unless alot of the great unwashed start to raise their voices.

BU needs to listen to the supporters and act on it rather than sit on it. BFC needs grabbing by the throat and shaking. The players need to go on the transfer list and never darken the doorstep of Griffin Park again.

Is it worth asking Alan Bird if he would be willing to act in an official advisory capacity, only this time, listen to him, take on board what he says and act on it? Rather than hide behind committee decissions which only go to feck up the situation.

I'm not suggesting Alan Bird will be the saviour of BU and BFC, but he seems to be talking alot of sense and his crystal ball is pretty accurate.

Well Mark I am sure you are a genuine guy and are doing your best, but the future really worries me I have been a supporter for over 50 years and have never seen us go down like this without as much as a fight.

Relegated with 4 games left!
Can't score goals
Can't stop other teams scoring
Beaten by teams around us (remember 3 of these will come down with us)
No prospect of things being better next year due to restrictions of players on contracts, and insufficient funds left to sign anyone half decent.
Replaced a manager with a bad record for one that was worse.
What makes Fitz/Reeves think they can suddenly turn things around next year, perhaps they would like to tell us the master plan.
Look at M.K.Dons & Wycombe both in much better shape financially than we arebut they are not finding it easy to get out of Div.2
The only reason we got out before was Ron Noades spending our money, and this was after being stuck in Div.2 for ages.
I am not getting a Season ticket next year, so they might struggle to sell 2000 let alone the bloody stupid unattainable figure of 5000, as about as much chance as there is John Mousinho scoring a hat trick.
As things stand we will be lower half Div.2 at best, and I really can see that we could get a second relegation.
We have become a circus and decent players know this and don,t wan't to come to BFC.
Over to you.

Turn up on Saturday and turn the place 'Nice and Nasty'........ ;)

The REVOLUTION must begin here and now...

The players who think they can just hang on again for another pay day season MUST be so abused and jeered in their next game that they will NEVER want to set foot in Griffin Park again...

Perhaps even a few songs specifically for Ide, Kuffour (although f***him he's off) just to let them know that they are not included in this...

This is my fifth relegation although I didn't see all of 65-66 which was worse as we were pre-season favourites for promotion. At least in the other seasons we made an effort but couldn't quite survive. This season we had an awful playing squad but that doesn't forgive the attitude of some of our more senior players. I'll never forgive those responsible for this season, both on and off the pitch. Well done to the loyal fans who have had to tolerate this garbage and I truly hope that things start to improve from next season, however, I think there might be worse to come and we could be seeing our very existence threatened. 1967 all over again.

Congratulations to all those that have cost a second manager his living in the space of four months - you should all be very proud of yourselves.

What do you mean were. Oh and by the way the phrase is "wallowing in self pity", it can still be found in the strap line to this very forum.

Presumably you forgot the wink smilie at the end of this post, because I can't believe you mean it seriously?
Who - the supporters? or the players??
