To be honest Frampton & Heywood can't help being very limited players - I'm not sure you can say those two haven't "tried" - or blame them for the ludicrous contracts they have been offered - they are just a little bit, err, shit. The one I am most dissapointed with this season is O'Connor - he has talent no doubt, but as our captain has been completely spineless all season - has hid and to be honest has played so far below his capability it's not funny.

I.E., every cross that Brooker puts in that finds a Brentford shirt, he gets thirty quid plus £100 per week basic salary.
You watch him ping twenty accurate crosses in per game.....

I'm not sure that's the case. Frampton and O'Connor had their best seasons alongside two quality centre backs.
Carthorses like Heywood and Griffiths aren't capable of clearing up the mess left by the full backs and therefore Frampton and O'Connor are exposed for the distinctly average players they actually are.

Virtually all of them. I reckon it's a combination though - some often don't put the effort in (O'Connor, Tillen, Brooker, Griffiths, Pinault) and some are just plain shit (Heywood, Willock, Frampton plus many more). Our playing budget and lack of nous at board level was and is always going to be a recipe for disaster :(

No it's not coincidence.
That was Fitz's first real test and he failed.
Using all the man-management skills he could muster, he should have told O'Connor that he wouldn't be captain anymore. I can't believe that Kev actually enjoys being captain after all.
