I got Neal Shipperley on loan in 99/00. I cant seem to be able to trminate the loan. I can put him in the subs and set the transfer status to NOT WANTED BY THE CLUB. I can't shift him....any advice ?.

Well, personnally I never get players in on loan, but I usually have a few youngsters on trial with the reserves and cant find anyway of removing them, although you get a choice between 1-4 weeks before they leave when you sign them.

LOANING PLAYERS:
For clubs on a low budget or those seeking to find temporary cover for suspended, ineligable, or injured players, the use of loan transfers can be a useful way for managers to get themselves and the club out of a tight spot. At the loan negotation screen you will be asked for the length of time you wish to loan the player for, the cup competitions he can play in and the % of the player's weekly wage you are prepared to pay. Once youve made your offer, the player and his club will inform you via the game news whether the loan can go ahead.

You can only terminate loans in the latest version 00/01. If you offer a loan and change your mind you must do it before the club and player accept otherwise you will be stuck with them for the length of the loan.
