I can't help feeling it would be bloody expensive on the phone bills! I'm trying to sort out a surftime deal in the next week or two, so that I can get unlimited off-peak access for a fixed price. Then I might be prepared to give it a try - but I suspect it might take ages and ages. And who would get Brentford?!

BT Internet appear to have the best deal £9.99 a month and it's free after 7pm till midnight and all weekend.
I suppose whoever creates the network game can have first choice.

I tried playing a joint game with my brother on 97-98 using the same computer, but its a really tedious experience, considering that version is a lot quicker to use then the newer ones http://gpgrapevine.co.uk/ubb/eek.gif After a few months (game time) we were bored. In the end we deleted the game and got on with our own ones.
Thats not to say you wont enjoy it, but youd do better to use one machine with the players around it (and it would presumably be a bit quicker too, no need for data transfering between machines).

bt surftime is:
£4 a month for ISP and £5.99 for surftime. (=£9.99)
