QPR away

The first away game my dad took me to. We got stuffed 3-0 and apart from crying all the way home (I was only 5) all I can remember is standing in the sunshine and the ride home on the 607 trolley bus (ask your dads younger fans) along the Uxbridge Road.

Thanks Chrisbee. I should have said that the game was in August 1961 (or was it 62?) and I've stopped crying now! Bloody hell I look at this and realise that my first Bees away game was almost 39 years ago, better go and make an Ovaltine and get to bed early.

I now how you feel Nigel, in 1998 I went to Blackpool and when I got there I realised that I first went 20 years ago. It ruined my day - did I feel old.
