Time to talk about something other then team news, what has been your favourite moment playing for Hey Jude?
I can't decide between PJ's goal line clearance that won us our first ever game (and saved my ass having mucked up the cross)at world net or Robs Pyle driver (sorry for the pun) against Reading.

Its gotta be Scratchy`s classic OG v West Brom.

A goal any striker would have been proud of http://gpgrapevine.co.uk/ubb/biggrin.gif

The fact that Scratchy still gets reminded about it in the pub most weeks http://gpgrapevine.co.uk/ubb/wink.gif reflects the quality of this goal......nearly broke the net http://gpgrapevine.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

I think it has to be " I dont Want To Hurt Nobody " ! Mr Kilo at Worlnet nearly broke both legs of this bloke !

I'd have to go along with Pete, Scratchy's own goal was a classic! It wasn't one of those ogs that got a cruel deflection and trickled past the keeper, it was hit with force giving Newbury no chance. There was a rumour that Scratchy had become fed up with Newbury shouting at the defence that he thought, "I'll give you something to shout about!"

A close second would have to be Scratchy's half time rant!

In third I would probably say our goal (was it Rob?) against Lincoln. We had been defending solidly and with our first real attack we scored, total injustice!

When I actually made a save in my debut v Millwall!! http://gpgrapevine.co.uk/ubb/biggrin.gif

Well I guess I should change my ID in honour of this thread eh? http://gpgrapevine.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

Hmmm I get the funny feeling I'm never going to be allowed to live that moment down....or should I say those moments down.*lol* Ah well.

My own personal moment of "glory" for Hey Jude came in the 0-8 thrashing by QPR.I received the ball on the right and completely skinned the oncoming QPR player with a sublime bit of skill. It's funny how no-one remembers those cultured bits of play by myself. http://gpgrapevine.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

As for the best Hey Jude game I was involved in well it was the one against West Ham in Leeds where we battled away magnificently and only lost 1-0 in extra time.

Agree with Gary "I dont wanna hurt nobody" is definetely my number 1 moment. Still cracks me up.
Almost as funny was Scratchys half time rant, scary stuff!

Also i thought was quite funny is when the 2 Qpha blokes started having a fight when one bloke didn't pass to ball to him.

I think my best moments were in the 2nd half against Arsenal in the cup or when I " NUTS " that Luton player from 20 yards !! http://gpgrapevine.co.uk/ubb/biggrin.gif

What about your Ginola style dive for the penalty against Reading?

Standing Bee, at half time against Derby you were apologising to the Derby players for the two sything tackles. You kept apologising and I came over and said that it was alright. You looked at me with a sincere look and said in your wonderful canadian accent "I don't wann hurt nobody."
I can't tell you how funny this was. Rob and Gary think so too. For anyone else who doesn't find this funny you just had to be there.
