Just heard from Ealing Council but they have had to cancel all games on
public parks this weekend.
We were only playing at Warren Farm because Hounslow and Richmond councils
had cancelled all "non regular" games on their pitches.
Same story at Heathlands School.
I'll try phoning round for astro pitches, but I don't hold out too much hope.

I was about to ask the question you have just answered. It don't look like that we will have a game to watch in the afternoon also ! http://gpgrapevine.co.uk/ubb/frown.gif

Just to confirm that I haven't been able to find an alternative pitch for this Saturday's game against Internet Royals so we've had to call this game OFF
Fear not: I've agreed that will play them again sometime later this year, probably in May or June as a lead-up to WorldNET.
I'll try to make sure that this is an additional fixture to the existing fixture list

Surely it would be wise to make next weeks fixture an astro-turf one as it is the only way were gunna get a game at the mo.

Agreed, it would make sense, unfortunately due to the lack of playing fields to hire in the area, I need to book well in advance in order to get a pitch of any sort. The next game is booked for Warren Farm on Sunday 25 March.
I might try to book an Astro pitch for the game against Palace on 10 March, though. However, astro pitches are a lot more expensive and they are less flexible for times etc (ie: we must finish to the minute etc). Whereas at places like Warren Farm or Heathlands we can overrun by an hour or so and it really doesn't matter.
