View Full Version : WorldNET update

We will be having two teams at WorldNET this year.

Already, I have interest from 29 players and I think we should make the absolute maximum number 30. Because I have had to shell out for our team's entry in advance (£150 per team x 2 = £300) I am asking for a deposit of AT LEAST £5 to guarantee participation at WorldNET AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

The total cost is £15 for match fees (covers cost of pitches; refs; balls; nets; flags etc) + £50 B+B accommodation (two night's basic accommodation in the University's Halls of Residence) This makes the total £65 + TRAVEL COSTS + BEER MONEY.
(Just for the record if we did have 30 players in total @ £15 per head, this would mean a surplus in the team's favour, this surplus would go towards general team funds, ie: kit, balls, nets etc)

Just for the record, I don't count myself among the 29, as I am the world's worst footballer and chronically unfit

The 29 players interested are:
Joshua Stedman
Joe Stedman
PJ
Scratchy
James Kylo
Edmondo
Paul Griffiths
Matt Dolman
Paul Harrison
Phil Matchin
Gary Thomas
Trandy
Gary Paul
Andy Mutton
Rob Pyle
Newbury Bee
Gareth Williams
Rick Scales
Jon Lindley
Jon Peck
Shaggy
Steven Smith
Minky
Daniel Casey
Muk
Nick Stamp
Ben Maddon
Tim James
Michael Williams

The remainder of the balance will need to be paid by early June.
If you haven't already paid me a deposit, I'll be seeing a number of players at the Reading game this Saturday, either in the morning at Warren Farm or in the Potteries before the game.

Failing that could you please post a cheque, payable to: PAUL STEDMAN
8 Waverley Avenue
Twickenham
Middlesex TW2 6DW

Stedders, If I can't make the Hey Jude game (I will hope to get there to help you out with the chanting!) then I'll see you in the Potteries with the deposit.
