Found this on Twitter this week and have since seen their website and bought a couple of their fanzines (ordered Tuesday arrived on Thusday :sorted:).

They are great and well worth a buy. Seriously good quality articles and something all proper football fans can relate to. I would encourage you get a copy or two.


As a side note they have a directory of Fanzines from all over the country http://www.standamf.com/a-to-zine-th...ine-directory/ but no mention of Brentford :blush We have two quality Fanzines that deserve nationwide recognition. Perhaps the Hester bros and the Beesotted fellas would like to contact them and get themselves on the directory....could result in more orders (and the national coverage you fellas deserve) but also may result in you being able to contribute to the actual Stand fanzines - would be great to have some Brentford contributions and im sure you could put together some quality articles for them.

Anyway as this hasnt been mentioned before on here i thought i would bring it to light. Hopefully some of you will give the fanzines a go (or at least look at the website).....I dont think you will be disappointed.

We have been offered a match at Taplow United's ground on Sunday June 2nd with an early pm kick off (exact time to be sorted)

We will be playing Red n White Ricks Company Team and cost will be £15.00 per man.

Rick has pledged to raise £1500.00 for a charity by running the 2014 London Marathon plus various other events such as this football match.

I would like a squad of 14 for this as that would mean all get plenty of time on the pitch.
