I was bored so decided to start and brand new thread.

We played a lot of games last season, so many exciting games, so many big games, a couple of do or die games and a couple of less glamorous ties.

We developed as a team and a club significantly, and finished in our highest position for many years.

But what did last season teach us? What can the players, management, and supporters take from the 2012/13 season? I'm sure people have taken a lot from last season and wanted to hear some

Keeping the backbone of the side in tact for continuity is often mentioned as being the key to building a successful team. So, who make up the spine of our team? Who are the key 7? At the moment I'd say:

Tony Craig. Reliable dependable solid, contracted.
Harlee Dean. Young, talented, committed.
Bidwell ditto.
Forshaw, out and out talent and ours.
Douglas, makes it tick when he's in the groove,plays a stupid number if games a season.
Donaldson. Proved a lot of us wrong and overall contribution is immense.

It's a toss up for slot 7. Simon Moore is obvious choice but with Richard Lee around is probably less of a key. Could be Harry, but in and out performances and may be departing.
