The side was always well run and paid its bills up until this season, not sure what will happen now to any of us who are registered with the club.
Register under the name "Dean Wells" and play in goal for Sunday Social.

You make a few assumptions there Heebee (regarding respect, big games, 12.7players and ringers,) trying to get a rise out of me?

No keeno i don't agree with the end of his post. As i said at the top of my first rant I respect keeno and his team mates, I respect referees/officials and I respect ALL of my opponents. Its obvious we need your kind, the rule enforcers, without you, all the things i have witnessed over the seasons would be 10 fold. The only person for whom I have no respect, is the person that looked inside himself and said 'I going to appeal, its ok to appeal, right?'

NO should have been the answer! but what's done is done.

Sources! the only sauces I have I put on food!

At no point did I say we had 'half a squad', or that our situation was unique. Paperwork never tells the whole story, these 12.7 players you mention, (point seven ) were made from 7 regulars, 3 finally showed ups but still injured, 2 who were supposed to show up but don't and the 0.7 that was still so drunk he couldn't even see never mind kick a ball.

You mentioned Big games, there are no big games in sunday league . I love playing it but come on! Our player's name MAY have been changed to 'protect HIM'! not to fool you! (or the CDSFL). Yes our player is good, but for us, 80% of the time, he was a liability. He turned up tanked, messed around, harassed team mates and he actually had a detrimental effect on our passing game. Then he gets mad when we let someone have a run at him. Anyone who knows him knows this to be true. Its was both funny and annoying! But, I can't emphasises this enough:

we.... had... no... one... else... to... play.

Both teams were deduced 3 points, yes, equal punishment, maybe?! but dukes first team was punished in the premier div, it had no bearing on their finishing position. (correct me if i am wrong but the first half of their season was not great - there's no malice in that statement) Our team and duke reserves are in the intermediate div, the decision changes everything in dukes favour. not quite justice, but ok!? its a Small point but worth mentioning that the decision affected other teams too. (HB and Cowboys)

FYI: I wanted to explain this to his face but as I will probably never see him again this forum and an email had to do.

I'm out forever!
this person has nothing to do with sunday social and is on a wind up.

Anyone up for a game in Liverpool this season

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liver...0252-19920212/

Which may have had a small connection to this

http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/...0252-26342539/

Ridiculous if that's what it comes to having police at games.

Good luck to Beesotted against Sunbury Sports.
Sunbury are a good team and a nice bunch of lads but are kitted out head to toe in last years Fulham away kit

Apparently this is the fault of the 'kitman' who is that way inclined.
Why on earth would you draw attention to yourself if you were only good enough to be a sunday league kit man anyway.

It made me raise my game anyway

We played them last year and earned a draw, in a tough game at Meadhurst...

Found this thread a bit late, but just to add to the Sunday Social/Duke Rangers debate... In writing the story, I chatted to both teams, and both had a point really. Duke wanted the same punishment which befell them earlier in the season to apply across the board, but Social pointed out that they only chose to complain after the game that cost them the title, despite the player in question having played against them three times already that season. It seems both teams have strong Bees connections, so best of luck to them both (or St Georges Brentford as I believe Sunday Social now are) next season, and I hope both do well, but it was probably the right outcome that Hampton Badgers took the title in the end.
