Default Tranmere away

Guys

I have three spare return rail tickets for 5th December, leaves Euston 09:07 (arrives Lime Street 11:15), leaves Lime Street 19:48 (arrives Euston 22:17). £22 return, i.e. £66 total. Any takers?

Cheers

Frank

It's easy to get too from the motorway and the parking is on street.

Last time I went in 1992 we parked in the car park right behind the main stand.

I think Bliss might have missed a penalty as well, so we could have been 4-0 up at h/t.

Last but one time went there won 4-1. That capped an excellent day. Got a friend who is (with difficulty) mobile but has a disabled badge and lives in Meols on The Wirrall. Got into club car park for free. Went round the corner to the away turnstiles, only to be accosted by Peter Gilham who asked us whether we had our tickets. When we said "no" he promptly produced 2, and said that Martin Allen "had arranged it". This was the last Saturday before Christmas and was a gesture to the travelling fans who'd bothered to make the trip! Marvellous gesture!

Stop it! That still hurts, as does Barnsley away from the same season.

There was also a Friday night game where we finished with 9 men and lost 3-1. One of my least favourite away grounds.

I've never seen us win there, the relegation party was good, the PO defeat was gut wrenchingly horrible to watch.

That 4-1 game was great if a little lucky. Hopefully bringing along a few friends to this one.

I'm going down there and bringing a few Spurs lads with me on the agreement i go to the Everton Spurs match on the Sunday.
New ground for me and overnighting it, so should be a good one.

What's the drinking around the ground like?
